Procedures:

Pre Game

  • Opening Field (all gates)
  • Lights and Scoreboard
  • Equipment rollout
    • Rakes, shovels
    • Battersbox Stencil
    • Line machine
    • Spray paint
    • Ladder
    • Tables
    • Speakers and Sound Board
    • Scoreboard
    • MT Binder (has brackets, scorecard, pitchcount forms, spare IPOD, etc..)
    • Gameballs (Blue Rawlings RST, three per game)

    Field:

    • Any puddles or divuts taken care of
    • "No Infield" signs placed on field
    • Raked or dragged
    • Infield watered (depended on weather)
    • field lined (home to first, home to third, batter boxes, coaches boxes and potentially outfield line re-spraypainted)

    Sound Systems:

    • Speakers hung on first and third base
    • Sound board unpacked and hooked up

    Snack Stand:

    • Need Cash box
    • Long table setup
    • Coolers iced with water and gadorade
    • Hot dog cart setup
    • Candy, ships, gum, etc...setup

    Lineups:

    • This takes a while as we need FistName, Lastname, Position and Number, Coaches are usually struggling with their own line-up and typically don't have allot of time to go throught this
    • We also need this for the score-book we keep

"In" Game:

  • Announcing
  • PitchCounts - confirmed with Coaches after each inning, documented on pitchCount tracker
  • Scorebook - Need to track lineup and subs (someone needs to understand Starter/Sub rule, pinch runner, etc...)
  • Make sure MT rules are in the binder or accessable

Post Game:

  • Confirm with Coaches they can play depending on where they ended up with the bracket
  • Confiirm last pitchers
  • If a team has been eliminated (2nd Loss) , they will need T-Shirts
  • Someone may need to communicate to wpll email acconut the counts and score
  • Teardown and putaway all equipment
  • Assist with Snack stand, identify and needed product
  • Lockup
